Morocco and Oman have formalized a new era of judicial collaboration by signing a comprehensive memorandum of understanding in Rabat this week. The agreement focuses on elevating the professional competencies of legal practitioners, including lawyers, jurists, and judicial experts, through a structured framework of shared educational resources and joint capacity-building initiatives.
The MoU outlines a multi-faceted approach that includes the exchange of strategic action plans, scientific content, and specialized training curricula. It also mandates the organization of annual conferences, seminars, and hands-on workshops designed to foster continuous professional development and institutional growth.
During the signing ceremony, both justice ministers engaged in in-depth discussions on shared judicial priorities and explored avenues to modernize legal systems while strengthening institutional cooperation. Abdellatif Ouahbi, Morocco’s Minister of Justice, emphasized that this agreement underscores the deep fraternal bonds between the two nations and reflects a shared commitment to advancing judicial excellence through enhanced training and knowledge sharing.
Oman’s representative highlighted the memorandum as a catalyst for deeper bilateral ties, providing a robust operational framework for exchanging best practices, specialized knowledge, and advanced legal expertise.
