Speaking on iRadio, he emphasized that Senegal is navigating “challenging times” and urged collective commitment to peace and resilience.

The prominent figure highlighted the critical need for both the head of state and the head of government to adopt a resilient stance, ensuring the country remains on a stable path. “The President must lead with resilience. The Prime Minister must do the same. Together, they should embrace the values of the International Day of Peace to guide Senegal toward progress,” he asserted.

Chérif Bouna Samsidine Aïdara expressed deep concern over the current climate, noting that reports from the media have left many citizens uneasy. “What we are witnessing and hearing is unsettling. Senegalese people are fearful. We cannot afford to let our nation face such turmoil at the highest levels of leadership,” he warned.
