« Nous savons tout » : Ousmane Sonko hausse le ton contre Al Aminou Lo

Ousmane Sonko has delivered a series of sharp warnings to the newly appointed Prime Minister, Al Aminou Lo, in response to his recent public comments. Amid a climate of political friction, the former head of government urged his successor to stick to his technical expertise while hinting at undisclosed details regarding their professional history.

During a press briefing this Tuesday, Ousmane Sonko did not hide his irritation regarding certain remarks made by his successor, directing several thinly veiled warnings toward him.

The former Prime Minister first advised the new head of government to remain within his specific area of competence. “I suggest he stick to the data. He claims to be a technocrat, so he should focus solely on technocracy,” Sonko stated firmly.

Warnings regarding political friction

Continuing his address, Ousmane Sonko claimed that the new occupant of the Primature played a specific role in the tensions that have strained relations between the Pastef party and the President of the Republic. “We are fully aware of the part he played in the issues existing between Pastef and the President. Until now, we have held back from disclosing every detail. He needs to calm down,” he cautioned.

The leader of Pastef also reflected on the attitude displayed by the new Prime Minister during the announcement of the government cabinet. “I heard him yesterday, while the government list was being released, giving out lessons. He should start by applying those lessons to himself,” Sonko remarked.

Adopting a particularly resolute tone, Ousmane Sonko finally suggested that he possesses information that has not yet been made public. “We are aware of everything. We have chosen to keep certain facts quiet, but we should not be provoked,” he concluded.
