Michael Olise’s move to real madrid blocked by secret presidential pact
After a stellar season with Bayern Munich and an impressive start to the World Cup, Michael Olise has caught the eye of Europe’s elite. Real Madrid are reportedly keen, but a secret accord between club presidents could scupper any deal.

Michael Olice’s dazzling World Cup performances have confirmed his status as France’s creative talisman. Unsurprisingly, such form has sparked interest from top clubs, most notably Real Madrid, who are reportedly ready to make a record-breaking offer for the former Crystal Palace winger. However, German journalist Christian Falk has cast doubt on these rumours, revealing that Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and Bayern Munich counterpart Herbert Hainer have struck a pact regarding Olise.
A non-aggression pact between Real and Bayern?
“Real Madrid would like to sign Michael Olise. But it’s false to claim they have any chance of landing the Frenchman this summer. Real Madrid have publicly stated they have had no contact with either the player or Bayern Munich, and I can provide some background. The presidents of the two clubs – Herbert Hainer of Bayern and Florentino Pérez – are very close. They met at a dinner during the Champions League quarter-finals in Madrid and Munich and have since built strong ties. Hainer made it clear to his friend that Real Madrid have no chance of signing Olise. Pérez also indicated that the Liga giants would not make any move without first informing Hainer. So I don’t know where these rumours come from!” Falk told a German football insider site.
“Right now, Real Madrid know they have no chance”
“They have therefore concluded this transfer pact – let’s call it the ‘presidential pact’! At present, Real Madrid know there is no chance, even if they were to offer €300 million. Moreover, the Spanish club is willing to stand down if Bayern simply do not want to sell Michael Olise. That is why the rumour should quieten down on this topic. And bear in mind, Olise has a long-term contract in Munich until 2029. He has no leverage to force a move, even if he wanted one. But it is not even known if he desires a transfer,” added Christian Falk.
