Tunisia and Senegal named as hosts for FIBA World Cup 2027 qualifiers
The FIBA Africa Regional Office has finalized the host nations for the fourth window of the African qualifiers for the FIBA World Cup 2027.
Tunisia will organize the Group E matches at the Salle Multidisciplinaire de Radès, located in the suburbs of Tunis. Meanwhile, Senegal will take charge of the Group F fixtures at the Dakar Arena.
Competition in both groups is scheduled to run from August 27 to August 30, providing a platform for elite African basketball talent to showcase their skills.

The Group E lineup includes Cameroon (5-1), Guinea (4-2), Tunisia (4-2), Nigeria (4-2), South Sudan (4-2), and Cape Verde (3-3). Each team brings a distinct playing style, ensuring high-intensity basketball throughout the window.

In Group F, the field features Senegal (5-1), Côte d’Ivoire (5-1), Mali (5-1), Angola (4-2), Egypt (3-3), and the Democratic Republic of the Congo (2-4). With three teams boasting undefeated records, anticipation is high for an intense battle for supremacy.
