The President of Tchad, Marshal Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, arrived back in N’Djamena late yesterday evening, wrapping up a high-level official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During his stay in the UAE, the Head of State held two key meetings with the President of the Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace, while the second was hosted at the Marshal’s residence.

Upon landing in N’Djamena, the President was greeted by a high-powered delegation including the Prime Minister, Ambassador Allah-Maye Halina, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Personal Chief of Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
