President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno touched down in N’Djamena late Wednesday evening, wrapping up an official trip to the United Arab Emirates that included two meetings with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The first encounter took place in Abu Dhabi’s Presidential Palace, while the second was hosted at the Chadian leader’s residence. Upon landing at N’Djamena International Airport, Déby was greeted by a high-profile delegation led by Prime Minister Amb. Allah-Maye Halina, alongside the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, key government ministers, and senior presidential advisors.

The welcoming party also included the Mayor of N’Djamena, underscoring the significance of the homecoming after the diplomatic engagements abroad.
