Serigne Mountakha Mbacké urges peace and unity ahead of Grand Magal 2026
With the Grand Magal of Touba set to unfold on Sunday, August 2, 2026, a significant diplomatic gesture took place this past Thursday, July 30. Ousmane Sonko, President of the National Assembly, made a courtesy visit to the revered spiritual leader of the Mouride Brotherhood, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, in the holy city of Touba.
