The Bureau has finalized the session’s legislative agenda, which includes two private member bills, three government proposals, and six requests to set up parliamentary inquiry commissions. Among the most anticipated texts is a private member bill aimed at amending Article 37 of the Constitution, which governs the declaration of the President’s assets. Lawmakers will also review a bill designed to regulate special credits and other secret funds—a recurring topic in the broader debate on fiscal transparency and accountability.

These two bills have already cleared a significant hurdle. They were examined and deemed admissible by the Bureau of the National Assembly in July. With this packed legislative agenda, the extraordinary session is expected to reignite critical discussions on institutional reforms, public governance oversight, and institutional transparency.
