The Cameroonian Party for National Reconciliation (PCRN), led by Cabral Libii, has officially joined the nation’s governance structure alongside the long-standing ruling party, the RDPC. Deputy Rolande Ngo Issi, representing Nyong and Kellé for the PCRN, was named a member of the Superior Council of Magistracy through a presidential decree on June 2, 2026. This move marks a notable shift in Cameroon’s political landscape and governance Africa.

Among other prominent individuals also appointed to the esteemed council are Sali Dahirou, former Minister of Public Service, and Deputy Soppo Toute Marlyse, who represents Wouri for the RDPC. The list further includes Claude Francis Moukouri, previously the vice-president of the Special Criminal Court (TCS), as well as Albert Ekono Nna, Engelbert Bengono, Mekoulou Cunégonde Christine Ngotty, and Roger Sockeng.

Born in Yaoundé on January 9, 1981, Rolande Ngo Issi brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She currently serves as a Deputy in the National Assembly and now holds the position of alternate member of the Superior Council of Magistracy, an appointment made by President Paul Biya. Her extensive involvement in African politics also includes her role as Deputy Secretary General of the Cameroon Women Parliamentarians Network, a member of the PCRN National Steering Committee, and the Secretary General for the party’s regional delegation in the Centre region.

Since April 2016, she has been the national president of the National Consumers Movement (MNC), demonstrating her commitment to society Africa and consumer advocacy.

Academically, Rolande Ngo Issi holds a Master’s degree in Child Psychology from the University of Yaoundé 1 – Nkoa Ekele. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Yaoundé 2 – Soa and is a graduate of the ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure).

Beyond her political and academic achievements, she was elected president of the Cameroon Consumers Movement in 2016. A strong advocate for Cameroonian youth and entrepreneurship, she actively engages with thousands of followers across her social media platforms, inspiring the next generation.
