Maroc and UAE forge strong strategic partnership for shared progress
Morocco and the United Arab Emirates have cultivated a model of pragmatic cooperation rooted in deep historical ties, strengthened over generations by visionary leadership from both nations. In a significant diplomatic engagement, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, welcomed King Mohammed VI to Rabat on June 2 for a private visit. The meeting provided a platform for the two leaders to exchange perspectives on pressing international issues, particularly those affecting the Gulf and Middle East regions. The discussions reflected the unbreakable fraternal bonds between the two heads of state and their families, reinforcing a relationship built on trust and shared vision.
The partnership between the two countries is anchored in a comprehensive cooperation framework established in December 2023.
