Gabon to manufacture military uniforms locally soon

The National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, National Defense and Regional Integration Committee has reviewed a draft law establishing a facility dedicated to producing uniforms for the country’s defense and security forces. Presented by the Minister of State for National Defense, Brigitte Onkanowa, the bill aims to create an industrial capacity within Gabon to manufacture military attire, which has historically been sourced from abroad. This move aligns with the nation’s broader objective of enhancing self-sufficiency in military logistics.
