Chad hosts visiting president of Algeria’s CNES Council
N’Djamena — Mohamed Boukhari, President of Algeria’s National Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CNESE), arrived in N’Djamena on Tuesday for an official visit to Chad. The trip follows an invitation from his Chadian counterpart, Ahmat Mboudou Mahamat, to attend the opening ceremony of the second ordinary session of Chad’s Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Council (CESCE) for 2026.
The high-level engagement underscores growing bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Chad in areas of economic governance, sustainable development, and institutional strengthening. Boukhari’s presence at the CESCE session reflects Algeria’s commitment to fostering dialogue and strategic partnerships across the African continent.
