Togo blood drive on June 12 2026 at CNTS Lomé
On the occasion of the 22nd World Blood Donor Day, celebrated on June 14, 2026, the National Blood Transfusion Centre (CNTS) in Lomé is calling on residents of the capital and surrounding areas to mobilize.
Under the theme “A drop of humanity: donate blood, save lives”, this commemoration will feature a special blood collection day on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Two collection sites in Lomé
Donors can go to one of two designated sites:
- The National Blood Transfusion Centre (CNTS) premises at Tokoin Doumasséssé, opposite EPP Doumasséssé 1;
- The Collection and Distribution Post (PCD) of Tokoin, located within the Sylvanus Olympio University Hospital (CHU), behind the hemodialysis unit.
A call for solidarity to save lives
Through this initiative, the CNTS aims to boost blood reserves and meet the needs of health facilities. The institution urges the public to participate massively in this donation campaign, reminding that a single donation can help save several lives.
“We are all united by the gift,” emphasizes the National Blood Transfusion Centre, counting on the generosity and civic commitment of donors to make this operation a success.
The CNTS of Lomé thanks in advance all volunteers for their contribution to this solidarity action for patients in need of blood transfusions.
