In Paris, a power outage at the Grand Rex cinema forced fans to gather in nearby bars to watch the match. Post-game, celebratory crowds spilled onto the streets, blocking traffic until police intervention restored order without further incident.

Around midnight in the 7th arrondissement near Quai Jacques Chirac, a scuffle between supporters led to one person sustaining a minor knife wound to the hip. The victim was promptly transported to hospital for treatment.
