By early Friday, police confirmed a total of ten arrests tied to the celebrations. Three individuals were detained in Paris for phone thefts, four for violent offenses involving weapons and conspiracy to commit violence, also in Paris, and three for fireworks-related incidents in Seine-Saint-Denis. It remains unclear how many of these arrests led to formal custody.

Minor injury reported in seventh arrondissement scuffle

In Paris, a power outage disrupted the live screening of the match at the Grand Rex cinema. Fans relocated to nearby bars, and after the final whistle, they spilled onto the streets, causing temporary traffic disruptions. Police intervention quickly restored order, preventing any further escalation.

A knife-related altercation in the seventh arrondissement left one person lightly injured. The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. near the Seine’s quays. Emergency services transported the victim to hospital for treatment.

Security agencies had previously flagged this quarter-final as a high-risk fixture due to its elimination stakes and the late kickoff time (10 p.m.). “The match carries an elevated risk of public gatherings and pyrotechnic use, regardless of the outcome,” noted internal security assessments.
