Olivier giroud weighs in on ayyoub bouaddi’s future amid psg interest
The football transfer market is buzzing with speculation surrounding Ayyoub Bouaddi, especially following his remarkable debut with Morocco in the World Cup last week. This pivotal performance has ignited significant discussion among football pundits, fueling new rumors about his next career move. While Paris Saint-Germain appears to be actively pursuing the young talent, Olivier Giroud presents a different perspective on where Bouaddi might ultimately land.

Despite signing a contract extension with LOSC until June 2029 this past December, Ayyoub Bouaddi’s long-term future at the club remains uncertain. The new deal has not deterred the interest of the Paris Saint-Germain hierarchy, who are reportedly leading the chase. Currently, the Parisian club is believed to have an advantage over other European powerhouses such as Arsenal and Real Madrid, both of whom are keen on acquiring the 18-year-old Moroccan international’s services.
«His head is screwed on right, in the sense that he is calm, he is confident»
Having played alongside Bouaddi at Lille this season, Olivier Giroud offered an glowing appraisal of the young player during his role as a consultant. Giroud remarked, «I was impressed by his maturity and by his entourage, which is truly healthy. His head is screwed on right, in the sense that he is calm, he is confident. He always remains himself, even on the pitch. It’s a gift to have him in your team. I think Morocco can be truly very happy to have him.»
«If he achieves that then he will play for Real Madrid next season»
Olivier Giroud suggests that while PSG is certainly interested, Ayyoub Bouaddi could ultimately find himself at Real Madrid in the near future, provided he enhances his attacking prowess. «He displayed his talent from the very first match and this is just the beginning because he is only 18 years old. I believe it will be difficult to keep him at Lille. He is a very complete player. The only aspect he needs to improve, and he knows it because he’s told it often, is his finishing. He needs to be more aggressive in front of goal. If he achieves that then he will play for Real Madrid next season.»
