National excellence contest in OHADA law 2026 Niamey Niger

National Excellence Contest in OHADA Law 2026 (CNEDO) – Niamey, Niger

The OHADA Club at Abdou Moumouni University in Niamey, in partnership with the International Committee of the OHADA Genius in the Making Contest (CIGHO), is launching the National Excellence Contest in OHADA Law 2026.

This prestigious competition invites students from both public and private universities, as well as accounting schools, to showcase their expertise in OHADA law—a legal framework unifying business regulations across 17 African countries.

The call for applications remains open until June 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Interested candidates must register in teams of three, with at least one female member.

Eligible participants

  • Law students (Year 3 Bachelor’s and Master’s levels)
  • Economics students (Year 3 Bachelor’s and Master’s levels)
  • Students from the Justice Section of the National School of Administration (Year 3 Bachelor’s and Master’s levels)

Competition format

Written tests: Participants will face a series of challenges, including:

  • A multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ)
  • Questions on African integration
  • « Who am I? » (identification-based questions)
  • Relay questions

Oral test: The final round will require a plea (oral defense), testing both legal knowledge and persuasive skills.
