Malian security forces have placed a substantial bounty on the head of a prominent jihadist figure known as Jouleybib de Nampala. The wanted notice, released by Bamako, identifies the suspect as a key commander within the Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (Jnim), an alliance of armed groups operating across the Sahel.

Sources indicate that Jouleybib, also referred to as Abdoulaye Mamoudou Bakaye Diallo in some intelligence reports, has been actively involved in orchestrating attacks against military and civilian targets in central and northern Mali. The reward offered for information leading to his capture underscores the threat he poses to regional stability.

The poster, widely circulated in recent days, urges the public to come forward with any details on his whereabouts. Authorities have stressed that cooperation from local populations is vital to dismantling the jihadist network in the region.
