Major transfer confirmed for psg striker gonçalo ramos
While the World Cup commands global attention, the football transfer market is simultaneously bustling with significant activity. The transfer window has officially opened, even for players currently participating in the prestigious tournament. A prime example is Gonçalo Ramos, the prolific Paris Saint-Germain forward, whose future destination is now firmly established through a confirmed agreement, with only the final signature pending to formalize the move.
It has been confirmed that the Parisian club has reached an agreement with Italian giants AC Milan. This development was reported by Fabrice Hawkins on Saturday, following earlier revelations. The deal for Gonçalo Ramos to depart PSG and join AC Milan is valued at an impressive 70 million euros, including various bonuses.
Second most valuable player sale in PSG history
Having initially arrived in Paris in August 2023 from Benfica on a paid loan of 20 million euros, which later converted into a permanent transfer worth approximately 65 million euros, the 25-year-old Portuguese striker is now set to become the most expensive acquisition in AC Milan’s history. This surpasses their previous record, held by Rafael Leao, who was signed from Lille for 50 million euros in 2019.
From the perspective of the Parisian club, this transaction is also remarkably significant. Only the sale of Neymar to Saudi club Al-Hilal in 2023, which fetched 90 million euros, has generated a larger sum for the capital club. During his tenure with PSG, Gonçalo Ramos made a total of 131 appearances across all competitions, contributing significantly with 45 goals and nine assists.
