Kenyan President William Ruto highlights robust diplomatic relations with Chad and commends the country’s role in Haiti’s security efforts.
The bonds between Kenya and Chad are built on shared values, mutual respect, and unwavering African solidarity. As partners, we remain committed to advancing common positions that champion our peoples’ interests, drive continental progress, and foster international cooperation.
I extend my sincere appreciation to Chad for its pivotal role in the UN-backed Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti. The deployment of Chadian troops has been instrumental in restoring peace, stability, and hope for the Haitian people—a testament to our collective resolve in overcoming global challenges.
During my productive discussions with President Mahamat Idriss Déby at the Nairobi State House, I expressed gratitude for Chad’s invaluable contributions to the recently concluded Africa Forward Summit.
