Jean Paul Ntsengue denounces organised poverty as a tool to manipulate Cameroonian youth

The electoral expert calls out those he describes as “irresponsible embezzlers of public wealth, crooked politicians, and individuals with overblown ambitions.”

In a recent statement, political analyst Jean Paul Ntsengue paints a bitter picture: the youth are hungry and easily swayed. He accuses irresponsible plunderers of public funds, dishonest politicians, and people driven by excessive ambition of deliberately creating poverty to exploit young people.

“Poverty is a fatal danger for the republic.

Conspirators and clientelists know this well. Among them are irresponsible embezzlers of public fortune, corrupt politicians, and people with unchecked ambitions. They have engineered conditions that worsen poverty among Cameroonians, pushing hordes of impoverished youth onto the streets. When the time comes, these leaders sell them empty promises, hoping for fanatical support, especially on social media, in exchange for future handouts. They have blocked everyone who could have assisted President Paul Biya in his heavy task, instead promoting mediocre allies loyal to them.

Unfortunately for them, God is never distracted. Spasmodic movements will not suffice to mend a deep wound, because everything eventually comes to an end. The Head of State, who promised to go down in history as the man who brought democracy and prosperity to the Cameroonian people, is a fortunate man chosen by Providence. He knows what he must do to enter history honorably. Let us give him our unwavering support for this second half without overtime,” wrote Jean Paul Ntsengue.
