AC Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Portuguese international striker Gonçalo Ramos, according to multiple sources. The 25-year-old is set to join the Rossoneri after both clubs and the player himself reached a full accord, with only the final paperwork remaining before the move is officially announced.

The Portuguese forward arrived at Paris Saint-Germain three years ago from Benfica, but his time in the French capital now appears to be coming to an end. Facing fierce competition for the starting spot up front, Ramos is excited to reunite with compatriot Ruben Amorim in Lombardy. Amorim recently took over as Milan’s head coach, and Ramos sees Serie A as the perfect stage to reboot his career in a new league.

A record-breaking fee for the Lombardy club

This transfer is set to make history financially for AC Milan. The club is poised to break its previous transfer record, which was set when Rafael Leão arrived from Lille for €50 million. According to Italian sources, the final fee could reach as high as €70 million including add-ons, a massive sum for an Italian side that will only compete in the Europa League next season.

A smart profit for PSG

From a financial standpoint, the deal looks excellent for the Parisian club. PSG originally paid €65 million to bring Ramos from Benfica in the summer of 2023, and they are now set to make a comfortable profit despite the player’s limited playing time in recent seasons at Paris. The medical check is said to have already been completed, leaving only the formality of an official announcement between the two clubs in the coming days.
