Chad opposition warns of political tension surge
In a fresh call to action, the opposition in Chad has raised concerns over the escalating political climate in the country. During a press briefing held on Wednesday in N’Djamena, the political party Les Patriotes, a member of the former Groupe de Concertation des Acteurs Politiques (GCAP), highlighted what it described as a tightening grip by authorities. The movement also pointed to a rise in legal proceedings against several political figures, alongside a deteriorating security situation and growing community divisions.
