Bénin and Niger establish expert committee to reopen border

In a significant step toward strengthening bilateral ties, Bénin and Niger have launched a joint initiative to address the reopening of their shared border. The announcement follows a high-level meeting in Niamey between Bénin’s President Romuald Wadagni and Niger’s Head of State Abdourahamane Tiani, marking a renewed commitment to regional cooperation.
