Yan Diomandé’s psg move may be delayed by a year
Reportedly targeted by Paris Saint-Germain this summer, Yan Diomandé appears to have made up his mind. The 19-year-old winger, currently playing in the 2026 World Cup with Côte d’Ivoire, is said to have chosen the Parisian club. However, the transfer of the RB Leipzig star may ultimately be postponed for a year.

Yan Diomandé seems to have taken a decision about his future. Sought after by many top European clubs this summer, the RB Leipzig talent has decided to join PSG. While competing in the 2026 World Cup with Côte d’Ivoire, the 19-year-old winger reportedly opted for the Parisian side for several reasons. And it now appears that his transfer could be pushed back by a year.
Why Yan Diomandé chose PSG
“Yan Diomandé, one of the most talented and most sought-after players in the world, wanted by Bayern Munich, PSG, Liverpool and many other clubs, has made his decision. And the club chosen by the player is PSG. He wants to go to PSG because it is his father’s team, he would love to live in Paris, the project is seen as very ambitious, he is tempted by the idea of winning Champions League titles, he believes PSG can win many trophies in the future, and Luis Enrique is very attractive to Yan Diomandé. All these reasons led Yan Diomandé to decide to join PSG,” a transfer market specialist first shared on his channel.
RB Leipzig may offer PSG “the possibility to sign the player for summer 2027”
“There is already a contractual agreement between PSG and the player, a 5-year contract with a significant salary. From RB Leipzig’s side, €100M will not be enough. It will take an enormous sum to get Yan Diomandé immediately, or RB Leipzig will offer PSG the possibility to sign the player for summer 2027,” the specialist added. It remains to be seen what PSG will decide to do with Yan Diomandé this summer. Story to follow…
