The war of words between Waly Diouf Bodian and Madiambal Diagne has escalated significantly.

Responding directly to a piece published by Madiambal Diagne concerning Ousmane Sonko, the Director of the Autonomous Port of Dakar expressed his strong disapproval without reservation.

In a particularly sharp condemnation, Waly Diouf Bodian accused the journalist of disseminating inaccurate information and constructing fictional accounts.

He asserted, “Madiambal, a master of invention, has once again concocted a story, a skill only he possesses.”

Continuing his vehement criticism, Bodian added, “The individual in question displays a sinister talent for spreading absurdities. He would excel as a scriptwriter for fantasy films.”

This latest confrontation further fuels the recurring tensions observed between certain influential figures within the government and the journalist, who remains a prominent voice in Senegal’s public discourse.
