N’Djamena is hosting the 5th tripartite forum bringing together Chad, Cameroon and the Central African Republic to address challenges in regional transit and trade. The three-day event focuses on streamlining customs procedures, enhancing cross-border cooperation, and accelerating economic integration along the Transcameroun Corridor.

The forum was inaugurated by Fatimé Goukouni Weddeye, Chad’s Minister of Transport, Civil Aviation, and National Meteorology, alongside high-ranking customs officials, port authorities, and private sector representatives from the three nations. Among the prominent figures present was General of Division Ousman Brahim Djouma, Director General of Customs and Indirect Taxes of Chad.
