Morocco’s king appoints new judiciary council members

The Monarch has designated two new members to join the Superior Council of the Judiciary. Mr. Mohamed Abdennabaoui has been reappointed as First President of the Court of Cassation and, in this capacity, as Deputy President of the Council. Additionally, Mrs. Latifa El Harradji and Mr. Nadir El Moumni have been selected as new council members.

In a display of confidence in their expertise, His Majesty also renewed the mandates of Mr. Farid El Bacha, Mr. Mohamed Zouak, and Mr. Mohamed Ennasser for a second term as council members. These appointments fall under the constitutional prerogative of the Monarch to shape the judiciary’s leadership.

During the official audience, the newly appointed members took their oath of office before His Majesty, seeking divine guidance in their duties.
