Morocco receives DRC envoy with message for King

Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, hosted on Wednesday in Rabat the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s (DRC) Delegate Minister to the Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in charge of Francophonie and Congolese Abroad, Crispin Mbadu Phanzu. The DRC official carried a message addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI from the President of the DRC, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo.

Following the talks, Mr. Mbadu Phanzu told the press that the visit underscores the excellent bilateral cooperation between Morocco and the DRC, two nations linked by a long history. He added that his trip to the Kingdom focuses on promoting his country’s candidacy for the post of Secretary-General of the International Organisation of the Francophonie (OIF).
