Mali’s authorities have unveiled a bold new initiative to combat terrorism, offering financial rewards ranging from 500 million to 2 billion West African CFA francs for credible information leading to the capture or elimination of seven high-profile suspects allegedly linked to militant activities.

The announcement, made public by the Ministry of Security and Civil Protection under the leadership of General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, underscores the government’s commitment to enhancing national security and dismantling terror networks operating within Mali’s borders.

According to official statements, the individuals in question are suspected of orchestrating or participating in attacks that have endangered both civilian lives and national infrastructure. Their alleged involvement in planning, financing, or executing such operations has prompted urgent action from security forces.

Profiles of the most wanted terror suspects

The list of individuals targeted includes:

Iyad Ag Ghali (alias Abou Al-Fadel) – A prominent figure in regional insurgent movements, frequently linked to high-profile attacks.
Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré (also known as Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô) – Believed to be a key recruiter and operational leader in militant factions.
Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo (alias Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi) – Accused of coordinating attacks in central Mali, particularly around Nampala.
Alghabass Ag Intalla – A high-ranking member of a militant group, reportedly involved in cross-border operations.
Sedan Ag Hita (identified by multiple aliases including Outhman Al Ansari and Abdel Hakim Al Kidali) – A seasoned operative with alleged ties to external extremist networks.
Bilal Ag Acherif – A senior commander in a designated terrorist organization, known for logistical and command roles.
Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi – A foreign fighter suspected of playing a critical role in financing and planning attacks.
