Macky Sall makes brief visit to seek Senegal’s support for UN bid

Former Senegalese President Macky Sall returned to Dakar this week, greeted by supporters at the airport. He was promptly received by President Diomaye Faye. Sall is now vying for the UN Secretary-General position and has come seeking his successor’s endorsement.
