Today marks the conclusion of the Gabonese president’s official visit. He initially arrived in Sierra Leone on August 2, accompanied by First Lady Zita Oligui Nguema. Vice President Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh welcomed the Gabonese delegation at the airport, where they received full military honors and traditional welcomes from local communities—a testament to the shared aspirations of building a unified future with the people of Gabon.
President Oligui Nguema is scheduled to depart for Abidjan, where he will participate as a guest of honor in the 66th anniversary celebrations of Côte d’Ivoire’s independence on Friday.
