Ousmane Dembélé, the 2025 Ballon d’Or recipient, who sustained a right calf injury during PSG’s final Ligue 1 match against Paris FC (1-2, May 17), conducted solo training sessions at the Puskas Arena in Budapest on Friday.
In a press conference Friday afternoon, Dembélé addressed concerns about his fitness. He stated firmly, «I wasn’t worried about missing the final. We’ve had ten to fifteen days to prepare, and the staff managed the season brilliantly. I’m at 100%, the team is ready, and we’ve approached this match with calm determination. We’re hoping everything goes smoothly.»
Despite his reassurances, Dembélé took to the pitch at the Puskas Arena shortly after to test his recovery. The French winger completed several sprints while his teammates focused on shooting drills. The session passed without incident, and he seamlessly reintegrated into the team’s training routine.
