Bénin extends registration deadline for National Order of Civil Engineers

The authorities in Bénin have decided to grant more time for civil engineers to finalize their enrollment in the professional regulatory body. The Ministry of Living Environment and Transport has officially extended the registration window for the National Order of Civil Engineers of Bénin, giving practitioners an additional 30 days to complete the process online.

Establishment of the professional roll

This extension was confirmed in a statement issued by Georges Alé, the Minister of Living Environment and Transport. The move aligns with the regulatory framework set out in Decree No. 2021-300, dated June 9, 2021, which governs the organization of the civil engineering profession within the country. The government aims to ensure that all qualified professionals are properly documented in this new administrative phase.

Qualified professionals are urged to visit the official digital portal to submit their applications within the new thirty-day timeframe.
